Who we are
Our website address is: https://adventures.motleykids.org.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We really try not to collect personal data through this website. As much as we enjoy hearing about your Agents’ adventures, we also understand that their information is particularly sensitive, and so we do not collect any information about them through this website.
We don’t currently allow comments on our site. If this changes, then we would collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you use a contact form to send us your contact or personal information, we promise not to share that information with anybody else. We will delete your information upon request. We will use that information to communicate with you regarding your specific question, concern, or comment, but we will not use that information for marketing or volunteer recruitment unless you have specifically requested that we do so.
CookiesIf you visit one of our Motley Air destinations, we may set a cookie on your computer once you enter the passcode to unlock the destination. These cookies are not used for tracking purposes and expire after one week.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment (if we enable comments), the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
This website is hosted by DreamHost.
Our contact information
If you have concerns about data or privacy you should email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and include the subject line “Privacy Concerns”.
How we protect your data
If you send us your information through a contact form or email, enough information to continue to contact you will be stored in our Google Business account. We don’t anticipate keeping any substantial personal data, and any potentially identifying information will be kept to a minimum. We have enabled two-factor authentication on our Google Business account.
What data breach procedures we have in place
If we become aware of a data breach, we will notify you as soon as we are aware. We anticipate our third-party host (Google) will let you know as well.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

Any data we collect regarding a minor participant in our activities (referred to as a Motley Kid) will be used only in regard to the immediate interactions with that minor participant, and then will be discarded. We may save data regarding client preferences for goods and services, but this will be associated with the adult making the purchase and not with any Motley Kid’s data.
